1) It Takes Two to Tandem – Paragliding Adventures:
Have you ever wished you could fly? Has it been something you pondered about every night and day? Then accept challenge number one and fly away… with a qualified tandem pilot. This adventure is a wonderful way to explore the Garden Route (especially this area’s magnificent coastline) from a bird’s eye view.

2) Your Seal of Approval – Swimming with Seals:
Challenge number two should get your “seal” of approval. Imagine climbing into the water and having a swim with Cape Fur Seals. This is available at Adventure Island, Plettenberg Bay. A short boat ride takes you to the area where you can swim with the seals – all gear is supplied and this activity is suitable for anyone from the age of six, up.
This unusual adventure will definitely be an unforgettable experience for you and the family.

3) Flying Cat – Sailing Fun:
Have you ever seen a CAT fly? Well not only can you see one; you’ll be able to be on one while it flies at Sedgefield. Race the wind, “trapeze”, fly high and speed with experienced skippers on a catamaran. All safety gear is included, so all you need to say is “challenge accepted”.

4) Just Dune It – Sand Boarding Fun:
Right in the heart of the Garden Route, there is a world famous challenge waiting for you – the ‘Dragon Dune’. This Mossel Bay adventure is the longest sand board ride available in South Africa.
Although the ‘Dragon’ is on private land it can be visited by anyone and although it is massive, it is still suitable for everyone that dares to accept this challenge. This experience sports awesome views and of course a 350 metre slope that you get to enjoy for three hours; all you need to pack is closed shoes, plenty of water, sunblock and of course don’t forget your camera and selfie stick!

5) Canyon Adventure:
The last challenge you can’t miss out on is exploring the canyons and waters of Wilderness. An experienced guide leads the way, giving an informative talk while you slip down rocks, drops and waterfalls (all of which are optional).
Not one for cold water? Don’t worry – the wetsuits are super durable and are even extremely effective in fending off the cold water in mid-winter. This is a perfect way to explore the magnificent nature that the Garden Route is famous for.
